Hello! We can't wait to welcome you to the lovely local Hideaway Wood Farm for a yoga class with a difference! We'll be taking our practice outside and into the fields with the resident Alpacas. These gentle creatures may be inquisitive at first but will most likely carry on their day as usual while we join them for some light early evening yoga. The views, the fresh air and the setting will make for a beautiful class - not to mention the entertaining company.

You don't need any yoga experience! Just a willingness to give it a go. 

We tend to do this class in the field where the more inquisitive male alpacas live, rather than with the expectant mothers who can be a bit more stand offish! Therefore there is a bit of background noise from the road, just to be aware of.

Join me for a friendly, light and fun 60 minutes of Hatha (the most commonly practiced type of yoga here in the West!) Yoga in the Welton Village Hall. This class is open to everybody and is an opportunity to build strength, increase flexibility and calm your mind.

Hatha Yoga involves moving through a number of asanas (poses or postures) that connect your mind, body and breath.  I will guide you through step-by-step and you practice in a way that works for you and your body.  

Each week we will build on our experience, working on sun salutations, standing postures, seated postures, twists and inversions. We will always finish with a short relaxation to consolidate our practice.

I am a  300 hour Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher. I have involved yoga in my life for well over 15 years and have practiced all over the world, from New Zealand to Zanzibar.  I hope you find that yoga benefits you both on and off the mat, just as it has for me.

Caroline is so welcoming and clearly explained all the moves so a novice could follow whilst including variations for the more experienced. What a lovely yoga class, the hall is spacious, cosy and easy to find and the atmosphere is friendly and supportive. There's a peaceful view outside the windows of beautiful woods. Chair & Standing Yoga & Tea is designed for those looking for a slow and gentle yoga class - for anyone who prefers not working from the floor.

All classes will be designed to encourage movement, flexibility and build strength as well as working on calming the mind.

During the class we will make good use of chairs to assist you through this gentle practice. You can expect to feel taller, stronger and hopefully better overall in yourself after each session.

Following a 45 minute yoga session we will stop together for a cup of tea or coffee and perhaps a snack before continuing on with our day.
