FAQ's
What happens in a yoga class?
Yoga is about mindfully moving the body in line with the breath, paying attention to where we are at and focusing inwards. We’ll take some time to prepare for the class before moving through a series of shapes designed to strengthen, stretch and move your body. I’ll be your guide, offering suggestions and ideas, while you move to where feels right for you.
What do I need to bring?
Please bring a yoga mat if you have one, a small blanket or throw and a bottle of water. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to settle in and go through any questions.
What should I wear?
It’s best to wear light, comfortable clothing that isn’t too baggy. Leggings, jogging bottoms or fitted shorts and a fitted top or tee-shirt is ideal. Baggy t-shirts can ride up in some postures, so fitted clothes are best.
What if I have an injury or condition that limits my movement?
Yoga can be adapted to suit most injuries and conditions and in fact, is quite often recommended as a tool to assist in recovery. We’ll work together to find props and modifications to assist you through your yoga practice. From using chairs, foam bricks and the wall – we’ll make it work for you.
I'm pregnant! Can I still participate?
Yes ! You can still safely practice yoga while pregnant as long as you have no high risk factors and have the green light from your medical professional. I’d be delighted to welcome you into my class and we will modify the postures for your changing body. I have had three pregnancies and have practiced yoga throughout them all.
Can anyone do a yoga class?
Yes! Yoga is non-competitive (even with yourself!) and open to everyone, whatever your shoe size. My classes are sociable, fun and offer you the opportunity to get to know your body and hopefully make some improvements on the way. Body and mind!

I’ve been going for a few weeks now, and it’s great! Caroline is really patient and takes the time to ensure the positions are doable, as I have some health restrictions. She’s always able to suggest other poses if I can’t manage.

My first ever yoga class so I was quite apprehensive. But Caroline was amazing. Really supportive and encouraging, very easy to get along with. We had a great deal of fun, and I will definitely be going again!
